The cheapest way to stop paying to heat the sky.
A quarter of the heat in an uninsulated home escapes straight through the roof. Loft insulation is the fastest, lowest-cost upgrade you can make — often done in a few hours, paying for itself in lower bills. We top up or fit to the recommended 270mm depth, to PAS 2030 standard.

of heat lost through an uninsulated roof
Why loft insulation pays for itself.
Heat rises — and in a home with little or no loft insulation, a quarter of it disappears through the roof. Laying insulation across the loft floor traps that heat where you want it. It’s the single most cost-effective energy upgrade for most homes: cheap to fit, quick to install, and it starts cutting bills the same week.
Small job, big difference.

Ventilation matters as much as insulation.
Piling in insulation without protecting airflow is how lofts end up damp. We design every job to PAS 2035 — keeping eaves ventilation clear, lagging pipework, and insulating the hatch — so you get the savings without the condensation. Lodged with TrustMark and guaranteed.
Trusted by homeowners.
“I didn’t expect such a small job to make such a difference. The team were in and out in an afternoon, left everything spotless, and the upstairs rooms are noticeably warmer in the evenings. Sorted the grant for me as well so it cost nothing.”

FAQ
Common questions, straight answers.
I already have some insulation — is it worth topping up?
Often yes. Older lofts were done to 100mm or less; the recommended depth is now 270mm. Topping up is cheap and effective.
Will I still be able to use my loft for storage?
Standard insulation goes between and over the joists, which raises the floor level. If you store things up there we can fit raised boarding so you keep the space.
How long does it take?
Most lofts are done in a single visit — a few hours for an average home.
Will it make the loft damp?
Not when it’s designed properly. We keep ventilation paths clear and install to PAS 2035 specifically to avoid that.
Can I get it funded?
Frequently fully funded — it’s one of the most widely covered measures. We check eligibility free.
